Our Client, a reputable Oil & Gas Services company, with operational offices in Port Harcourt and Lagos seeks to recruit a Senior IT Officer for her Oil and Gas operations in Port Harcourt.
Job Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the entire IT infrastructure and architecture of the organisation
Oversee both hardware and software requirement of the organisation in the area of website and webmail server management; networking, internet access and data backups; troubleshooting hardware, software and general network issues.
Conduct technology training for new users/members of staff
Conduct briefings and demonstrations for users/staff to enhance system productivity
Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software
Complete special projects as requested
Functional Competencies:
Ability to priotize, attention to details, maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional client service
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
A sense of urgency and commitment to timely completion of projects
Job Qualifications
Must have a degree in Computer Science or related field. Professional Certifications (hardware and software) is a must
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar field managing IT infrastructure and architecture
