AfricCon Blogspot Agency is mandated by a leading multinational engineering firm to recruit a Service Engineer for its operations in the construction equipment unit in Nigeria.

Job Description

    The candidate will be responsible for prompt and professional service to customer requests on all types of construction equipments.
    The position is based in Abuja.

Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:

    Prompt servicing and maintenance on customer equipments
    Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical and control faults on customer equipment
    Maximise the commission of new equipment and train customers in the general operations of their equipment.
    Maintain test instruments to ensure they remain in good condition
    Work closely with the sales unit to generate more business
    Attend training on knowledge development and skills
    Be aware of, constantly apply and monitor health and safety regulations on site

Job Qualifications

    B.Sc in Engineering from a recognised institution
    At least 3 years hands on experience in technical/ engineering service industry
    Must be resident in Abuja
    Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
    Knowledge of safety practises
    Possess a knowledge of maintenance and scheduling
    Possess a proactive personality and be a self starter
    High proficiency in MS Office applications
    Should be team oriented and outgoing
