Eto'o joined Anzhi from Inter Milan in 2011 and at the time had said he considered a move to Stamford Bridge before opting to join the Russian outfit.
On Monday morning, a report in a British newspaper claimed Blues boss Mourinho was considering a move for Eto'o as an alternative option to Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, and later in the day reports in Italy suggested talks between the Cameroon international's agent and Chelsea officals had recently taken place.
And Eto'o has now hinted that he could be ready to leave Anzhi before the summer transfer window closes after taking time to praise Mourinho.
