VACANCY - ASSISTANT REGULATORY MANAGER - NEEDED


All Business Units - Lagos


The successful candidate will be require to:
Contribute to the implementation, coordination and provision of regulatory support to the new products in Nigeria as well as efficiently manage product portfolio, information and documentation in a manner that is aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Maintenance of relevant databases.


Responsibilities:
Registration of new products with relevant regulatory agencies viz: NAFDAC,SON.
Renewal registration of existing products.
Registration of product variations e.g. pack size extension, change of product name e.t.c.
Compilation of product dossiers.
Co-ordinate GMP inspections
Interact and follow up with regulatory agencies and collaborate with internal and external customers.
Assist with compliance and general functioning of the department.
Support local and corporate business objectives by active team work and interaction with internal colleagues and external contacts.
Maintain product databases to ensure the information is always current.


Qualifications:
A first degree in a science based discipline e.g. Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology
1-2 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs will be an added advantage
Computer skills must include working knowledge of word, excel, power point and use of the internet.
Good verbal and written communication.
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships across departments and functions.
