Jose Mourinho Says Chelsea do not need to sell any players in order to sign Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney this summer.

Mourinho on Friday admitted that there has been no further progress on Chelsea's efforts to sign Rooney, but an improved bid is expected to be made in the coming weeks despite United insisting that the England international is not for sale.

Rooney is still thought to be keen on securing a move away from Old Trafford and has also been linked with Arsenal during the summer.
