ShekauThe Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, has described the $7m bounty on Abubakar Shekau and other members of Boko Haram as a positive development.

The IG therefore called on Nigerians to take the matter seriously and give security agencies relevant information that would lead to the arrest of terrorists.

Abubakar said, “Today, history is being made as we try to take care of the welfare of the police.”

Retired IG, Musiliu Smith, who was at the event, described the hospitals, as a very important welfare project.
