  Borno is reported to have active Boko Haram movement few weeks after President Jonathan declared it under state of emergency. In an interview with Abuja reporters, State Senator Ali Ndume revealed that Boko Haram’s violence is still rampant in areas without military presence.
  
  According to him, there is no means of communication because of the disruption of connection links by mobile phone operators.
  
  He cited the destruction of the primary school he attended as well as the murder of his reverend friend and news of killed businessman and his daughters.
  
  Ndume affirmed military’s actions in the state but pointed out Borno is huge and it cannot be dealt at once. He then appealed to everyone that it’s early to assess the situation and start taking the issue seriously.
