Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and managing the overall performance of the Commercial team (Aviation, Marine & Bulk products inclusive) he will be responsible for provision of policy direction for the sales force towards the attainment of the company's corporate objectives through the development of marketing and sales vision & mission.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop marketing strategies for the achievement of the departmental targets.
Develop strategies, structures and equipment for the Commercial teamto improve sales.
Ensure the attainment and compliance to the company's corporate Credit strategy.
Ensure adherence to Commercial business sales philosophy.
Co-ordinate Marine business and bunkering activities to ensure adequate contribution to corporate profit.
Provide leadership to the branches for effective performance and profit contribution
Manage and increase profitability of all products in the Commercial business
Oversee branch operations activities and ensure branches get adequate support to achieve assigned volume targets
Provide support to the branches for effective performance and profit contribution
Develop marketing strategies for the achievement to increase all products revenue targets and decrease operational cost
key Performance Indicators:
% Increase in profitability
% Increase in staff productivity
% Decrease in operations cost
Qualifications:
A good university degree (preferably with a Masters)
Minimum of 10 years experience in a Oil and Gas industry (Marketing/Sales function in the oil & gas industry will be an added advantage)
