Jose Mourinho has admitted he is "happy" that Samuel Eto'o wants to play for him again.

Eto'o who appears to be available for sale remains keen to play under the Blues boss; And the Blues boss said: "I am always happy that somebody that worked with me previously is happy to be back and work with me again.
"That is a good feeling that I have, when I read something that Samuel is keen.

"It is fantastic for us, but we are going to see what happens."

Mourinho remains keen on signing Wayne Rooney, although Manchester United have rejected two bids from the west London outfit and continue to insist that the striker will not be sold.

And Eto'o, who was part of the Portuguese's Inter Milan side that enjoyed success during the 2009/10 campaign, which resulted in the Italian giants winning the Serie A title, the Champions League and the Coppa Italia, appears keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.

"There is only one Jose Mourinho," Eto'o said earlier this week.

"I have played under a lot of great coaches, but there is no character in the game like him.

"He is one of the best coaches in the world, and we had a lot of success together at Inter Milan.

"I would like to have the chance to play under him again because it is never boring when Jose is around."

The Cameroon international also suggested that he is ready to listen to offers from Chelsea, adding: "Chelsea are a great team, and when we have all the offers on the table I will discuss with my agent and see what the next step is."
