    African telecommunications company require the services of Account Manager

    Account Manager
    Qualification:
    University graduate in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or any other numerical Sciences from reputable institutes.
    MBA degree will be an added advantage.
    Good communication, presentation and international skills.
    Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
    Self motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Experience:
    7-10 years post graduation work experience.
    Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in sales/business development with a telecom/IT company.
    Background in sales of IP, MPLS VPN, IPLC, NPLC, Data Centre solutions and Value Added Services.

    Main Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of sales plan for the target segment.
    Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and territories and provide this information on a regular basis to Senior Management.
    Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
    Provides timely feedback to senior, management regarding performance.
    Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted.
    Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
    Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for those accounts and segments assigned.
    Work with Solutions Engineers on all technical issues.
