African telecommunications company seeking to recruit a good and skillful individual in the area of Solutions Engineer
Solutions Engineer
Qualification:
University graduate in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science from a reputed Engineering institute.
Postgraduate degree in technical field will be an added advantage.
Cisco certifications will be an added advantage.
Analytical skills and good interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Experience:
7-10 years post graduation work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in solutions architecture designing with a leading telco.
Experience in crafting customer specific technical solutions covering IP, MPLS, VPN, IPLC, NPLC, Data Centre Solutions and Value Added Services.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical architecture analysis and design for solutions to meet customers' specific requirements.
Responsible for making technical presentations to customer during the pre-sales stage.
Provide help to sales teams in terms proposing precise technical and commercial viable solution to customer.
Assist in the bid process for new businesses.
Maintain expertise by keeping abreast with latest technology trends and developments in the industry.
