Our Client:
Ire City Products Ltd was established in 2008 to take over the moribund asset of Ondo State Brick works Limited which was established in 1981.
The factory which has been shut down since 1998 is being rehabilitated by Ekiti State Government and Odu'a Investment Company Ltd.
The rehabilitation exercise which began in 2009 has reached an advance stage.
The factory will be commissioned in the week of December 2012 and is expected to resume commercial operation in January2013.
Ire Clay Products Ltd is designed to produce 20 million Bricks per annum of different sizes of red burnt brick ranges from fencing Bricks, sum Breakers, Load Bearing wall facing lintel and decking materials.
Ire Clay Products Ltd, urgently seeking for skillful, resourceful, self motivated personnel to fill the position of Chief Accountant.
Chief Accountant.
Job Responsibility:
Report to the GM, this role is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the day to day financial reporting and financial management of the business, (1) To facilitate the strategic and operational decision making, (2) To ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Qualification/Experience:
First degree from a reputable university.
Master degree will be an added advantage.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA).
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in manufacturing and or Construction Industry, with at least fiv years accounting and finance experience at management level.
Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting standards and regulatory requirements applicable in the manufacturing sector with working knowledge of IFRS.
