Manager/Sales Marketing - Needed
Location: Ekiti - Nigeria
Our Client:
Ire City Products Ltd was established in 2008 to take over the moribund asset of Ondo State Brick works Limited which was established in 1981.
The factory which has been shut down since 1998 is being rehabilitated by Ekiti State Government and Odu'a Investment Company Ltd.
The rehabilitation exercise which began in 2009 has reached an advance stage.
The factory will be commissioned in the week of December 2012 and is expected to resume commercial operation in January2013.
Ire Clay Products Ltd is designed to produce 20 million Bricks per annum of different sizes of red burnt brick ranges from fencing Bricks, sum Breakers, Load Bearing wall facing lintel and decking materials.
Ire Clay Products Ltd, requires immediate employment in the following areas:
Sales Marketing.
Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the GM/CEO, the ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for the Company's sales and marketing activities, including product innovation, marketing and customer retention.
Inherent in this is the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with a view to increasing the Company's market share and profitability.
Supervise the formulation and implementation of the Company's overall Sales and marketing straties.
Manage and deepen customer relationship with existing and prospective customers in order to increase profitability, growth, increase in market share, and customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Coordinate the development of innovative product and service categories, as well as identify new markets, in order to maximise sales and marketing opportunities.
Qualifications / Experience:
A good first degree or its equivalent from a repurtable institution.
Possession of higher degree (s) in marketing or business Administration or other relevant professional qualification (s) will be an advantage.
A minimum of fifteen (10) years' relevant work experience, including at least five (5) years' in a senior management position.
Demonstrable experience in marketing, channel development management, pricing and profitability and strategic planning.
Proven business development skills and strong entreprenurial outlook.
Strong customer service orientation and knack for breaking new grounds.
Excellent leadership, negotiating, relationship-building, team-working, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
