The Arsenal boss has been encouraged by his players, especially the defenders to go for Suarez, as they described him as the most difficult opponent they have come up against in the Premier League. .
Wenger was very close to landing Higuain last week, until Real Madrid decided at the last minute to increase his price to £25.5million. However, the Frenchman is still confident of landing the Argentine striker. He has also had a £30million offer for Suarez rejected, but is planning to increase his bid to £35million.
If Arsenal are able to pull off the deals, it will definitely leave the future of Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski and Gervinho in doubt.
