Job Description
The General Manager will be responsible for the general business administration of the company that is involved mainly in road construction.
Job Qualifications
University/College degree, with specific training and background in management. A graduate degree would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industry with additional related work experience
• High energy and commitment to business results
• Strong consultative, communication and influence skills
Responsibilities
The functions of this role inlude but not limited to:
• Supervising the preparation and submission of tenders.
• Follow-up tenders with Government agencies, ministries, and officials.
• Plan for project execution.
• Budget projects.
• Supervise staff recruitment.
• Administration of accounts.
• Administration of equipment fleet.
• General administration of asphalt plant.
• Purchasing of raw material.
