Valencia defender Aly Cissokho has revealed that he has reached an agreement with Liverpool

, and says it is now up to the clubs to negotiate a deal to take him to Anfield this month.

Cissokho has been on Liverpool's radar for some time and reports in Spain last week suggested Reds boss Brendan Rogers was lining up a move for the full-back on a season-long loan deal to provide cover for Jose Enrique, who is the club's only senior left-back.

"Liverpool have made me an offer and it is true that I have reached an agreement with them," Cissokho told Le 10 Sport.

"It is now up to the clubs to agree terms. I expect to know more later this week.
