There seems to be no end in sight to the crisis plaguing the PDP as 15 executive committee members of the Borno State chapter of the party voluntarily resigned and withdrew their membership.
In a statement made available to journalists yesterday, the 15 committee members declared their loyalty to the newly registered All Progressives Congress (APC). According to them, the reason for the defection was to enable them carry out developmental activities that will affect the ordinary man in the state.

In a statement made available to journalists yesterday, the 15 committee members declared their loyalty to the newly registered All Progressives Congress (APC). According to them, the reason for the defection was to enable them carry out developmental activities that will affect the ordinary man in the state.
The defecting members, however, pledged their continued support for the present administration and acknowledged its tremendous achievements despite the security challenges facing the state.
The defecting members include Habu Hamman – deputy state chairman; Mallam Gana Ladu - state secretary; Hajiya Fati Kakenna - state women leader; Hon. Nuhu Clark - state youth leader; Liman Mustapha - state org. Secretary; Hon. Audu B. Walama - state Treasurer, and Hon. Modu Allami- State pub. Secretary.
Others are Alh. Audu Gambo- state auditor; Modu Abba - asst. org. sec., north; Gambo Birma - asst. org. sec. South; Hon. Abdulraman Abdulawan - asst. sec., central; Mohammed Danjuma - asst. pub. secretary; Hon. Mustapha Ali - ex-officio; Aja Eli Wakil - ex-officio; and Hajiya Bintu Bukaram - ex-officio.
