AC Milan are preparing to welcome Kaka back to the club after vice-president Adriano Galliani thrashed out a deal with Real Madrid on Sunday night.

The Brazilian won the Scudetto and the Champions League in a six-year spell with the Rossoneri before moving to Spain in 2009, but as the Serie A club’s official website put it on Monday morning, "certain love stories never end".
"Yesterday evening, just after 20:00, in virtue of the traditionally good relationship between the two clubs, Real Madrid and Milan reached and formally ratified an agreement for the transfer of Ricardo Kaka to the Rossoneri," a statement on the Italian club’s website said.
"During the night, meanwhile, just before 3am, the agreement was reached with the Brazilian superstar."
Kaka and Galliani are both flying from Madrid to Lombardy, where they can expect to be met by hundreds if not thousands of Milan fans at the airport of Linate when they land around midday local time. They will then transfer to the club’s training facilities in Milanello for the obligatory medical before meeting the media in the early afternoon.
