  Africcon Report: IG redeploys 11 CPs

  The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, has ordered the redeployment of 11 commissioners of police.
  
  The Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, who stated this in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday, said the IG’s order followed the recent elevation of some senior officers to the rank of CPs and the retirement of some.
  
  He said,  “They are to ensure that they work cordially with the public and to serve as motivation to their subordinate officers in the discharge of their onerous responsibilities.”
  
  The CPs are Agboola Oshodi-Glover, (Kwara); Abubakar Mohammed, (Enugu); Tonye Ebitibutawa, (Bayelsa); Umar Sheu, (Nasarawa); Hurdi Mohammed, (Katsina); Sylvester Umeh, (Eastern Port); Kudu Nma,  (Gombe); Usman Baba, (Cooperative); Saidu Madawaki, (Border Patrol); Usman Yakubu, (Welfare), and Abdulmajid Ali, (B Department).
