Africcon Report: Oyo ACN accuses Ladoja of incitement

Action Congress of Nigeria in Oyo State has accused former Governor Rashidi Ladoja of inciting the people against the state government.
The ACN, in a statement on Wednesday by its Publicity Secretary, Mr. Dauda Kolawole, said Ladoja had an ulterior aim of profiting from the crisis.
The party said Ladoja had earlier accused the ACN-led administration in the state of causing tension among traditional rulers via the rotation of chairmanship position of Council of Obas and Chiefs.
The ACN statement said Ladoja actions could be likened to a “rehash of the politics of hatred and falsehood he is known for. This is targeted at gaining undue advantage in the hearts of a section of the people”.
However, the state Administrative Secretary of Accord Party, Alhaji Bola Akinyemi, denied the allegation, saying Ladoja did not issue any statement on the matter.
Akinyemi said, “The allegation against our leader is a blatant lie. Accord as a party is low in its activities at the moment as a result of the death of Senator Ladoja’s former deputy, Sunday Alalade.”
