Arsenal FC target Luis Suarez - Rodgers tump up £55million if Arsenal are serious about signing suarez

Report Says:  Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers remains adamant that Luis Suarez will not be sold this summer, and has told Arsenal to stump up £55million
if they are serious about signing the unsettled striker.

 Blog - Speculation about Suarez's future has been ongoing for some time and Arsenal had a £30m bid for the Uruguay international rejected last week.

A report on Friday morning suggested the Gunners are ready to pay up to £40m for Suarez, but Rodgers believes the 26-year-old is worth the same kind of money Paris Saint-Germain spent on Edinson Cavani.

PSG paid Napoli £55m to win the race to sign Cavani earlier this week.

"When you consider that Cavani has gone for £55million you know...Luis is up there in that bracket of top talent," Rodgers
