A an oil and gas firm to recruit a Security Manager for its operations in Nigeria

Job Description
The Security Manager will lead the daily Security activities in the project to ensure that all COMPANY Security requirements defined by the client are strictly adhered to by all parties on the project site and all logistics base sites
The role reports to the Engineering Manager and will be based in Lagos but will be required to travel a lot to site in Port Harcourt

Job Qualifications
Holds a first degree in engineering or must have a B.sc or HND in Psychology or Management related courses. MBA will be an added advantage in a relevant management field or discipline.
Minimum of 7 years experience in security management and surveillance within the heavy industry or n oil & gas sector.
Must be able to interface with different levels of management to communicate security measures (i.e. Customers, Vendors/Contractors (Security companies).
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to plan ahead and take initiative in resolving problems
Ability to direct and lead others.
Must be self-motivated and a self starter.
Detail-oriented.
